Bluey is a show for babies, and my kid is nearly a teenager! I have made it clear that all programming should be edifying and age appropriate.  I feel like she deliberately disobeyed me and broke my trust. When I’m gone, I need to know that my daughter’s time is usefully filled.

Dear Concerned Parent,

Before taking drastic steps, consider discussing your expectations with your babysitter. Bluey, though aimed at a younger audience, promotes essential emotional skills. Share your perspective on what you consider edifying. Moreover, perhaps consider your sitters point of view, and ask why she determined Bluey appropriate content.

Instead of firing, emphasize the shows you endorse to align expectations better. Communication can bridge the gap and foster a more understanding environment.

Best,

Annabelle
